West Toronto Queer Youth Drop-in Program

City of  Toronto Parks & Recreation – West District has a free social recreation drop-in program for queer youth. The term "queer" here refers to teens who are gay, bisexual, lesbian, questioning, trans (transsexual, transgendered), two-spirited, or anything else belonging in that category. You and your friends are all welcome here! Between the of ages 15  to 24. The queer youth club meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

This new program, the first of its kind in the west-end of Toronto offers a safe, secure, confidential, positive space for youth and friends to hang out and meet new people outside of the downtown core.  The program is located in the (former Borough of Etobicoke) Bloor Street West and Royal York Road area and is easily accessible by Toronto Transit Commission Royal York #73 Bus or Bloor Street Subway Line.

This is a “for youth by youth” initiative and therefore dates and times are being arranged to suit  the groups needs. This group is open style and we encourage youth at all stages of acceptance to attend.
